We\'re seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Services Manager to join our People Directorate within a newly aligned Recruitment Operations and Talent Acquisition Team. You will report to our Director of Talent Acquisition and will be responsible for managing the Recruitment Operations team. This is a pivotal role where you\'ll drive service excellence, champion inclusive hiring practices, and help build a scalable, sector-leading recruitment model. The position is a hybrid role, based a minimum of 3 days a week on our campus on Oxford Road, Manchester.
What You\'ll Do:
- Lead the delivery of a streamlined, effective, and bias-aware recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
- Influence strategic hiring practices and drive continuous improvement across recruitment operations.
- Champion a culture of service excellence and inclusive hiring at scale.
- Translate strategic goals into operational delivery and lead successful change programmes.
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.
What We\'re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing high-quality recruitment services in large, complex organisations.
- A track record of designing and implementing innovative, efficient recruitment processes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing large teams.
- A customer-focused mindset and a passion for creating positive candidate and stakeholder experiences.
- Experience using diverse recruitment channels, including social media, to attract top and diverse talent.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across varied audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A strategic thinker and motivational leader aligned with the University\'s values.
Desirable: Experience working within the higher education sector.
Interviews are likely to be on 14th and 15th August.
