We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Trial Manager / Research Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to improvements in the overall quality of education for students, their families and communities in educational settings throughout the world, within a dynamic and inclusive environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinate all aspects of the trial setup including trial registration, ethical approval applications (e.g., University of Manchester Ethics Committee), trial documentation (e.g., participant information sheets, consent/assent forms), trial governance structures (e.g., Trial Steering Committees and Data Monitoring Committees).
- Coordinate relationships with participating schools, serving as the primary point of contact for the evaluation team.
- Develop and maintain secure data management systems for trial data collection, storage, and processing in compliance with data protection regulations (UK GDPR).

About You

Essential Criteria
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. education, psychology).
- Proven skills in advanced quantitative data analysis.
- Experience with survey platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, REDCap).
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and research ethics.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working with schools.
- Knowledge of Structural Equation Models.
