Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leadership and direction of student systems and process training to ensure the delivery and implementation of a training strategy that will ensure that resources are pedagogically suitable for colleagues using student systems for the administration of teaching, learning, PGR and student experience.
  • To continuously drive forward the training plan for staff, ensuring the latest technologies and training concepts are monitored, assessed and implemented where appropriate.
  • As a leader of Professional Services (PS), embed locally and University-wide a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience, including applicant experience, at the heart of what we do, with support for a single PS team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.
  • To work with the Head of Student Systems, Records and Data and other senior colleagues to develop, embed and maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues, students, and other relevant stakeholders, which are conducive to the effective realisation of the University’s strategic aspirations in relation to the delivery of student system and process training and the student experience.
