We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Student Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator to join our team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at The University of Manchester. In this role, you will coordinate dynamic multi‑channel marketing campaigns aimed at attracting students to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at our University.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with faculty and central marketing teams to oversee key recruitment activities, including managing recruitment print and digital content, promoting courses to prospective students before they apply, encouraging applicants who have received offers to accept their place, and engaging with students who apply later in the recruitment cycle.
  • Produce online and offline marketing campaigns, content and activities with a digital first approach, appropriately timed, targeted and segmented for key priority areas.
  • Support online and in‑person events such as open days, confirmation/clearing, and conversion activities.
  • Develop, prepare and deliver high quality information, presentations and training resources that meet the information needs of prospective students and influencers, promoting Manchester as a study destination.
  • Plan, create, and deliver targeted marketing e‑mail communications to support student marketing and recruitment objectives.
  • Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) to manage prospective student data, segment audiences, and track campaign performance.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with academic departments and student ambassadors to support collaborative student marketing and recruitment activities.
