We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Assistant β Community Placements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality administrative support for the MBChB programme, working closely with students, academic staff, and placement providers. You will play a key role in supporting a dynamic and student-focused learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support for community placements, including coordination with students, GP practices, and hospital teams.
- Acting as a first point of contact for student and teaching-related queries, providing guidance and escalating where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate student records, placement data, and documentation to support teaching and learning delivery.
- Supporting placement organisation, including scheduling, communications, and responding to changes or cancellations.
- Assisting with meetings, correspondence, procurement processes, and general administrative duties across the team.

Essential Criteria
- Experience of working in an administrative role with structured processes.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work in a busy environment.

- Digital literacy, including experience with standard IT systems and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working in a higher education, healthcare, or research environment.
- Experience supporting programmes delivered across multiple locations.
- Experience using financial systems for ordering and procurement.
- Experience supporting student-related processes or placements.
- Experience contributing to process improvement or service enhancements.
