Overall Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Technician to join our dynamic FSE Technical Operations team, which strives to provide a sector leading technical support for our students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a senior member of a team of technicians that provides specialist technical advice, support and assistance across all teaching spaces in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
  • Support the Senior Teaching Specialist in the management, planning, maintenance of equipment, and materials needed for practical classes.
  • In conjunction with the Teaching Technical Specialist and other Senior Technicians, plan and implement strategies to deliver sector leading teaching laboratories.
  • Ensure that the laboratories are maintained to a clean and tidy work standard and in line with H&S guidelines.
