We invite qualified candidates to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in large‑area thin‑film optoelectronics. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a stimulating EU HORIZON‑funded research project focused on developing and fully characterising organic functional materials and their integration into thin‑film optoelectronic devices.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, fabricating and characterising thin‑film devices such as photodetectors, with optimised architectures and performance.
- The use of solution processing and the vacuum sublimation method to create devices with improved hole‑transport characteristics will be key priorities for the project.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate holds or is about to obtain a PhD (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline, with a solid foundation in solution‑processable materials, device manufacturing, charge transport physics, self‑assembling monolayer materials and relevant patterning techniques.
