Lagator lab works at the intersection of evolutionary, molecular, micro and synthetic biology, to address questions about bacterial transcriptional regulation and antimicrobial resistance. We use Escherichia coli as a model system.

Applicants should ideally have experience in molecular biology (in particular molecular cloning on bacterial plasmids and chromosomes; Next-generation sequencing), microbiology (sterile techniques; bacterial growth and fluorescence assays in plate reader and flow cytometer) and/or experimental evolution.
