The University of Manchester has recently established the Manchester Centre for Robotics and AI and is a leader in developing robots for extreme and challenging environments. The Project Administrator will provide support to the UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (UK‑RAS) Network, established in 2015, which aims to provide academic leadership in robotics and autonomous systems, expand collaboration with industry and coordinate academic activities in the field.

Working alongside the Project Manager, the Project Administrator will provide high quality administrative support for the network and the wider robotics group in Manchester. The postholder will carry out a broad range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Preparation of reports
  • Organising meetings, events and workshops
  • Procurement
  • Assisting with marketing and communications
