We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as an NDA Hub Coordinator. The post-holder will have day to day responsibility for the coordination of the NDA funded Pu Ceramics Hub, working closely with the NDA Hub Director and Co-Directors, industrial partners, management and Doctoral Academy team to ensure delivery of an exceptional student experience and to support the strategic and long-term objectives of the NDA Hub.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Faculty Marketing and Communications Team to plan and coordinate the delivery of a marketing campaign, developing a web and social media presence to raise the profile of the NDA Hub to support recruitment of high-quality students.
  • Supporting applicants through the application process, coordinating offers and feedback to applicants in conjunction with the Doctoral Academy admissions team.
  • Supporting the delivery of events, projects, and initiatives in pursuit of the NDA Hub ambitions and objectives including organisation of and support for NDA Hub activities such as recruitment events, interviews and Vivas, conferences/workshops, and outreach events, away days and symposiums.
  • Supporting the Hub Director with management of the Hubs budget in line with university regulations and funding body terms and conditions.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant administrative and management experience, backed with evidence of success and appropriate specialist knowledge relating to supporting PGR Students within a higher education setting.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment and delivering exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with budgets within defined financial processes and policies.
  • Experience of events management including programme organisation, coordination of events activities and communication.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to and meet deadlines.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous administrative experience of doctoral training centres/programmes.
