The Faculty of Humanities at Manchester is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an innovative and driven marketing and recruitment professional to join our team as a Student Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator. Working within our Faculty Student Marketing and Recruitment team, the successful candidate will have specific responsibility for coordinating student recruitment and marketing activity within the School of Environment, Education and Development.
These permanent roles are based within the Faculty of Humanities Student Marketing and Recruitment Team, working across the Faculty. You will join as an important member of the Faculty team and engage with a range of activities in support of the creation and delivery of student marketing and recruitment campaigns, administration, supporting in‑person and online events, while developing professional knowledge, skills and experience.
You will support clerical and administrative activities and events as required and as directed by the line manager in support of Student Marketing and Recruitment processes and procedures. You will also contribute to the production and distribution of e‑newsletters for prospective students, as well as staff audiences. This will include writing and editing copy in line with brand and editorial guidelines. The role will involve event delivery, including open days and welcome activities, supporting colleagues throughout the organisation. Other duties will include assisting the team with projects, generating social media content, coordinating student ambassador activity, and some enquiry management.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading experience.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience communicating with students or other youth‑oriented prospects.
