The Postdoctoral Research Associate (Neuromorphic Vision Systems) plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing neuromorphic vision systems, spanning the theory of pixel operation, optimisation of processing algorithms, and hardware implementation.

This position involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across neuroscience, engineering, and computer science to develop functional models capable of learning, storing, and detecting patterns.
The role also includes contributing to demonstrator applications that showcase the practical impact of the research.
Beyond technical development, the Research Associate is expected to actively contribute to the University's research output through data analysis, publication, and dissemination via seminars, conferences, and public engagement.
Additionally, the role supports the identification and development of new research directions and the preparation of proposals for both independent and collaborative projects.
