The Department of Economics at Manchester wishes to appoint multiple Teaching Associates in Economics from 01 September 2026. We are seeking to appoint innovative, engaging and dynamic teaching colleagues who will enhance the quality of our teaching and improve the student experience at Manchester.
The role involves delivering small‑group teaching (tutorials, classes and practicals) and marking assessed work, primarily on large undergraduate modules in Years 1 and 2 across the full range of courses within the Department of Economics. These roles are intended to provide a level of teaching experience which will allow the role-holder to be better equipped in securing further and more advanced teaching roles in the future.
