The ‘Antibiotics for Global Health’ research group at the University of Liverpool has a longstanding track record of research excellence in the discovery, development and deployment of antibiotics to improve global health. We are looking for two Grade 4 Research Associates who will join an established group of researchers focused on the mechanisms of antimicrobial drug resistance in bacteria and fungi.

Responsibilities:

  • Help map the pathways to development of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and design mitigating strategies.
  • Assist in new approaches to optimise antifungal combinations and other research programmes addressing the global threat of antimicrobial resistance.

Term: Fixed-term until November 2027.
