HALLS ASSISTANT (2 POSTS)

Grade 2
£22,995 – £23,061 per annum (pro rata)

We are seeking to recruit two Halls Assistants to work at the University’s Halls of Residence based at Greenbank Student Village. You will assist in providing a cleaner environment for all residents and visitors of the Halls of Residence and other University locations. This will include the removal and recycling of waste materials from residences, the moving and transportation of bulky household items and cleaning duties externally and internally.

Reporting to the Domestic and Reception Supervisors, you should be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. You should be dependable and reliable with a flexible working attitude. The hours of work are 17.5 per week term time only (36 weeks) Monday to Friday starting at 10.30am.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable however applications will be considered from those without, as full training will be given.
