The University of Lincoln’s School of Engineering & Physical Sciences is a diverse community of teaching and research. This post is permanent full‑time (1 FTE) and focuses on developing and delivering cybersecurity modules within undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver core computer‑science modules, with a particular focus on Cybersecurity topics such as information governance, mitigation strategies, network security, attacks and counter‑measures, and cloud security concepts.
- Contribute to the development of new and existing cybersecurity courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Collaborate with the programme leadership team to integrate research and teaching, and promote best practice in cybersecurity education.
- Maintain high teaching standards and continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
- Engage with industry partners to bring real‑world experience into the curriculum.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience, preferably in computer or information science.
- Strong track record of delivering study modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Industrial experience in cybersecurity is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
