We are looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. You can work remotely, or on a hybrid basis from our Woking Office or London Campuses.
The role involves translating complex brand messages into simplified, engaging copy. As Creative Copywriter, you will be creating scroll-stopping copy for ads and social media scripts, helping us to evolve our voice so it resonates with multiple audiences without losing credibility.
As a Creative Copywriter at The University of Law, you will:
- Develop original copy, straplines and messaging for brand and recruitment campaigns.
- Craft eye-catching copy that works in seconds for a wide variety of channels, including advertising, social media, website and marketing materials.
- Push the boundaries of our tone of voice whilst keeping it distinct, confident and rooted in our values.
- Collaborate with the brand team, product marketing managers and creative leads to develop copy across multi-channel formats.
- Translate creative briefs into high-impact copy that resonates with diverse audiences.
Is this you?:
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a creative copywriter, ideally in a brand agency or in-house creative team.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously and independently.
- Deep understanding of youth culture, social media behaviours and what engages Gen Z.
- Ability to prioritise deadlines and bring creativity into reactive situations with a short turnaround time.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Exceptional creative writing skills, with proven ability to convert complex topics into short, impactful copy.
Along with a starting salary of £31,000 - £32,800 per annum you’ll enjoy:
