Position for two Programme and Student Leads (one 12‑month contract and one permanent) at the University of Law Business School, Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Campus Management Team to ensure smooth running of courses and excellent student experience.
  • Manage relationships with academic partners, ensuring coordination and quality of ULBS programmes they contribute to and are delivered at the campus.
  • Collate and disseminate feedback on programme design and materials delivered on campus to ensure quality, and contribute to discussions on revisions.
  • Ensure an outstanding quality of student experience, measured by key benchmarks, and manage promotion, delivery and analysis of student surveys.
  • Facilitate effective communication between ULBS and campus teams.
  • Carry out teaching tasks including timetabled teaching, module leadership, and other responsibilities during time not allocated to management activities.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience leading and managing the teaching of business and/or designing courses at degree/graduate diploma level.
  • Highly IT literate with understanding of the digital environment in higher education.
  • Can‑do attitude and sense of ownership about programmes led.
  • Proven senior management experience and leadership skills within a business or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of current theory and best practice of teaching, learning and assessment in academic courses or professional training.
