We are looking to recruit a Marketing Strategist to join our UK Marketing & Sales team on a hybrid basis, working at least 1 day per week based at our Woking office.
Please note this is a fixed term contract (18 months), working full time (40 hours per week)
As a Marketing Strategist, you will be leading the development, implementation and analysis of marketing student recruitment strategies and commercial propositions designed to meet the University’s goals, such as increasing awareness, driving enrolments and engagement or entering new markets in the UK and internationally, across the whole student journey.
You will be taking the lead on collaboration and working cross-functionally to provide direction to a number of teams across the business to achieve successful results and long-term success.
As Our Marketing Strategist, You Will Be
- Leading on analysing market research to understand industry trends, student needs and behaviours and competitor activities.
- Defining and developing the student recruitment marketing positioning in the market and ensuring consistency in communication.
- Responsible for setting clear marketing goals, KPIs and metrics to measure success.
- Working closely with a number of internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business goals, as well as managing strategic relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Excellent level of commercial awareness, business understanding and acumen.
- Commercial experience of developing and managing long-term customer journey marketing campaigns driven by ROI and an understanding of the consequences of non-performance in the marketplace.
- A knowledge of strategic marketing management techniques and tools.
- Media agency experience and management.
- Results-driven and capable of managing budgets, stakeholders and strategic campaigns.
