Our
Careers Consultants play a vital role in delivering high‑quality services that cater to a diverse student body with varied career aspirations.
- As Our Careers Consultant, You Will
- Deliver a range of careers services including one‑to‑one guidance, employability workshops, and mentoring schemes.
- Support student employability through CV reviews, application advice, and interview coaching.
- Organise and contribute to open days, employer talks, Careers Fairs and networking events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, alumni, and professional organisations.
- Support and deliver occasional in-curricular teaching.
- Contribute to national employability projects and initiatives that enhance student career outcomes.
Is this you?
- Experience in Higher Education careers counselling and guidance or similar advisory work or experience of professional legal recruitment or the legal sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of legal and professional career pathways is desirable.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with students, colleagues and employers.
