At The University of Law, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us as a Campus Director.

As Campus Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across ULaw’s Leeds campus, ensuring they deliver an exceptional, high-quality student experience, while aligning with the University’s mission and strategic ambitions. The successful candidate will be coordinating local operational delivery and ensuring that the teaching and learning environment on Campus is welcoming, optimally and efficiently utilised, and compliant with health and safety policies.

As Our Campus Director, You Will Be:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Campus and ensure delivery of an outstanding student experience, liaising with staff, including academic and central services.
  • Developing and implementing an annual Campus plan that reflects the University’s strategy and needs - outlining any proposed new programmes, improvements in the student experience, plans for recruitment and more effective use of resources.
  • Monitoring the financial performance of the Campus, working with the University Executive and other Operational Teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of services on Campus.
  • Leading the development of the external profile of the Campus by liaising with external clients/partners including potential students at targeted schools, colleges and universities, and local businesses and communities.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Programme Directors and Operations to ensure continuous performance improvement of academic and wider operational delivery on campus.

The ideal candidate must be a decisive, creative and innovative individual, with a demonstrative success in influencing strategy and business development. The successful candidate will understand the education market and local professional services.

  • A good understanding of current theory and best practice of teaching, learning and assessment in academic courses and professional training.
  • Management experience within a legal, educational or commercial environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • An enthusiastic self-starter, highly goal oriented.
  • Involvement and/or interest in people management, particularly motivation and development.
