An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual to lead and further develop the Quality Assurance function within the Enterprise Architecture team as part of the Computing and Library Services. This post will play a key role in supporting the implementation of a major digital transformation programme at the University of Huddersfield which will deliver substantial efficiencies along with improved students and staff experience.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for the creation and management of a whole variety of functional and non-functional testing such as functional, system, integration and user-acceptance.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent qualification/experience and holding ISTQB Foundation level or an equivalent qualification in Software Testing, you will have a wide range of knowledge and understanding of industry-specific QA techniques, methodologies, quality assurance requirements, and regulations.

We are looking for a team player who can work independently, motivate and organise a team, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. You will be able to satisfy and provide examples of how you meet all essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
