We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Team Leader to join the Payroll Department at Huddersfield University.

You will support the Head of Reward and Information Systems in processing all aspects of the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations. This will also include administrative support for each of the University’s pension schemes, completing monthly returns and providing guidance for members.

With previous experience of processing large payrolls, you will have a good level of IT literacy and of leading a team. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a team and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with a calm, friendly and professional approach. You will either hold a professional payroll qualification or be prepared to undertake one.
