An opportunity has arisen to join the Leadership Team in the School of Business, Education and Law as School Operations Manager, contributing to the operation and strategic direction of the School. As a member of the School Leadership Team, you will help shape the school’s strategy and direction, supporting the delivery of KPIs that contribute to the overall success of the University.
You will also play a pivotal role in the effective operation of the school, working closely with stakeholders across the University to ensure an excellent experience for staff and students. You will lead a team of professional services staff who support the smooth running of the School and work on projects and initiatives to deliver the strategic objectives of the school.
You will have a clear understanding of professional support and academic roles within Higher Education and have current knowledge of the HE environment and factors likely to affect the School of Business, Education and Law. You will be able to lead and manage staff, supporting the implementation of appropriate training and personal development plans.
A key part of this role will be working with academic and professional services staff at all levels within the University; therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to positively manage change are integral to this role. You should be confident in managing a complex workload, contributing to strategic discussions, and driving positive change. A commitment to delivering an excellent service to both staff and students is essential.
