Join the University of Huddersfield in establishing a new interdisciplinary research centre focused on mental health, funded by a major NIHR award. The centre will transform mental health research in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield, creating a vibrant community and delivering step‑change outcomes for under‑served populations.
Responsibilities
- Your role will be pivotal to the centre’s success: deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality;
- Develop and implement strategic plans;
- Scope projects, identify and manage resources;
- Evaluate performance against key deliverables and milestones;
- Prepare internal and external reports;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including centre leads Prof Michael Doyle and Prof Ann Caress.
Qualifications
- You will hold a degree or equivalent experience, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and a recognised project management qualification (MSP, APM, PRINCE2) or equivalent.
- You should have substantial experience managing high‑value, complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in higher education, health, care, policy or a comparable environment, and be able to demonstrate successful completion of at least one such project.
