The Prospective Student Web Content Team manages all central website provision for prospective students and works with colleagues in a range of academic and service departments to continually enhance students’ online experiences. This role will involve joining a small team of content designers and contributing to an editorial and liaison process that will deliver an updated online degree finder ready for future applicants. Following a successful training and induction period, the expectation is that most of the work will be undertaken remotely.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- You need to be able to edit copy to a high degree of accuracy and consistency, following an editorial style guide.
- You need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, liaising between team members and colleagues in schools, colleges, and support units on editorial decisions.
- You need to be well organised and self‑motivated, able to plan your own work within a daily routine and hit assigned deadlines.
This post is part-time (15 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
