Applicants should demonstrate a significant track record of achievement in design theory and practical studio teaching. This post will place a focus across UG and PG teaching provision. The post holder would also be expected to be able to undertake PGR supervision where appropriate.We are looking for a Teaching Fellow in Graphic Design, with applied graphic design practice to support delivery of the BA & MA Graphic Design programmes across a range of courses in Graphic Design and ECA.

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Master’s degree (PG) and Undergraduate degree in combination with extensive industry experience in Graphic Design or a related subject.
  • Demonstrable industry lead expertise will also be considered.
  • Experience of teaching and educational administration in higher/further education.
  • A historical, theoretical and contextual understanding of the discipline.
  • Professional graphic design industry experience, or experience as a practitioner.
  • Clear communicator with passion for teaching graphic design.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrable commitment to a diverse and inclusive working environment
