Grade UE07: £41,064 – £48,822 per annum (pro‑rata for 21‑hour part‑time work). Contract: Open‑ended, permanent. Location: College of Science and Engineering / The Data Lab.
Role Summary
The Data Lab seeks a solicitor to provide practical legal and contractual support across its projects, programmes and partnerships. The role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial and collaboration agreements, and providing proportionate legal guidance to colleagues on day‑to‑day matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and collaboration agreements.
- Manage the lifecycle of agreements, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Provide timely legal advice on day‑to‑day operational matters.
- Support cross‑functional teams on contractual and legal matters.
