Job Description

Grade UE02: Β£22,547 per annum plus 3 hours per week contractual overtime and 5% premium band shift allowance

Contract Type – Open-ended

We are looking for Servitors to join the current team at our Kings Buildings Campus, EH9 3FD

The Opportunity:

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00 although approximately one week in four may be 15:00 to 23:00 which you will be paid an additional 5% shift allowance and there will also be some weekend work which will be paid as overtime at 1.5 hours.

This customer-facing post is an integral part of the Estates Department providing an efficient level of support services to Schools and Departments within the College to ensure the smooth running of research and teaching operations.

The ability to work as part of a team, excellent communication skills and a pro-active approach to customer satisfaction is essential.

The Estates Department is part of the Corporate Services Group and provides a range of key activities that help the University to achieve its corporate objectives. It is an integrated centre of excellence responsible for implementing decisions related to the buildings, fabric and infrastructure of the University. It provides specialist advice to the University on strategic estates issues as well as its statutory obligations.
