In this project, supported by the project team, you will design and undertake a systematic review on the educational experiences and outcomes of care experienced neurodivergent children and young people. You will also assist in recruiting and working with a small community partnership group of neurodivergent/care experienced young adults, school staff, and supporters of care experienced young people. The post holder will report to, and be supported by, Dr Katie Cebula and the project team. This post is part-time (59 hours in total across April – end July 2026). This work will be mainly remote but with the possibility of a few on-campus meetings.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Current University of Edinburgh PhD student.
- Previous experience of undertaking a systematic review in the social sciences (and experience of relevant tools such as library databases, Covidence, PRISMA, quality appraisal tools).
- Experience/interest in working together with neurodivergent and/or care experienced individuals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high standard of organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously.
