Job Opportunity: Radiographer

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified radiographer to join a state-of-the-art imaging facility and participate in cutting-edge imaging research. The position will primarily be based at the Queens Medical Research Institute, with the possibility of rotation within our other facility at the Royal Infirmary.

The post holder will perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high-quality diagnostic service to assist in patient management within the Edinburgh Imaging Facility QMRI and the MRI imaging facility at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Responsibilities include participating in clinical examinations, research studies, and clinical trials involving MRI, CT, and PET/CT scanning.

This post is fixed-term (18 months) and full-time (35 hours per week).

The salary for this post is Grade UE07N: £41,064 to £51,753 per annum.

A market pay supplement of 7% of the salary will be payable in addition to the basic salary. The normal incremental pay range for this post includes points 1-9 on the published scales. The successful candidate must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

An Honorary NHS contract will be sought for the successful applicant, and eligibility to hold such a contract with NHS Lothian is required.
