Job Description
Grade E07: £41,064 - £48,822 per annum pro‑rate if part‑time
CMVM / School of Genetics and Cancer
Full‑time: 35 hours per week
Fixed‑term: 24 months (to 30/4/2028)
This post‑doctoral researcher position is part of the Stark Lab, a funded project on nucleoli, inflammation and cancer risk. The role involves quantitative imaging and image analysis, molecular and cellular biology approaches, computational data analysis and project management within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
- A PhD in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Expertise in the molecular dissection of cancer cell signalling pathways.
- Experience using molecular and cellular biology approaches, including quantitative imaging and image analysis.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and bioinformatics relevant to molecular and cell signalling studies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated initiative and independence in managing research projects, with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Developing track record of high‑quality research outputs, with evidence of rigorous and interdisciplinary scholarship.
