The Student and Academic Services Team in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures (LLC) is looking for a Learning and Teaching Administrator to join our team. This is a 12-month, full-time role.
The Opportunity
Join our dynamic administrative team as a Learning and Teaching Administrator. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and smooth delivery of activities related to the School’s taught programmes. This School-wide role involves close collaboration with key senior professional services staff to deliver exceptional and adaptable student and academic services. We seek candidates with excellent communication, sound judgment, keen attention to detail, and strong task- and time-management skills to support our students effectively in this proactive and demanding position.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- Vocational qualification (e.g., N/SVQ Level 2 or 3, ONC, or equivalent) with relevant work experience; or a general secondary education (e.g., Standard Grade or equivalent) combined with demonstrable relevant work experience.
- Administrative experience, preferably in an HE environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, etc).
- Strong communication skills.
- Organisation and time management skills to plan and organise activities and events.
- Demonstration of ability to provide an effective service in a customer service role.
