The predicted salary is between 30000 - 38785 £ per year.

Grade TR01: £30,000.00 per annum plus £8,785.71 compulsory contractual overtime (total £38,785.71 pa). Additional allowance of £1,800.00 per annum will be applied upon joining the Call Out Rota at 6 months Service. Additional Call Out Payments will also be applied.

Corporate Services Group / Estates / Maintenance Services. Full-time: 35 hours per week, plus 7.5 hours compulsory contractual overtime per week. Open-ended (permanent).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Joiner to join our multi-disciplined trade’s team. You will be joining a team that provides exceptional customer services to an expanding world class estate.

Role and Qualifications
  • Completed a Recognised CITB Craft Apprenticeship as a Joiner and carry a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Carpentry and Joinery (Construction) at SCQF level 6 or equivalent.
  • A working understanding of minor works, alterations, refurbishments or new installations and significant experience carrying out similar maintenance tasks within a complex estate.
  • Experience with reactive and planned maintenance using an electronic maintenance system via smartphone; it would be desirable to have similar experience of this method of work prioritisation.
  • A driving licence is essential as there will be a requirement to drive University vehicles.

The Maintenance Services Team operates an emergency call out rota which you will join on reaching 6 months service. You will be expected to take part in 6 weeks out of the year.
