The Fintech Cluster Events Manager is a new role within FinTech Scotland. This will be both a hands-on and lead role planning and delivering professional events from c-suite roundtables to large scale conference-style events. This post is full-time (35 hours per week), we welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours or flexible working patterns. We also support hybrid working on a non-contractual basis, offering a blend of home and on-site working to help you balance work and life effectively. This is a fixed term post until 31st March 2027. It may be extended subject to funding. The salary for this post is £32,000 to £42,000 per annum.

The experience and qualities we are looking for:

  • Track record of delivering a range of successful events
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments building relationships across organisations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills balancing attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ideally, some financial services, professional services or fintech experience
