The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Field-Based Property Assistant to join our Property & Residential Services team within the Accommodation, Catering and Events department. This mobile, operational role supports the day-to-day management and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of student accommodation properties across multiple sites.
In this vital support role, you will collaborate with Accommodation Managers to deliver high-quality property services for over 800 students. Your responsibilities include conducting on-site inspections, identifying and reporting repairs, liaising with contractors, and ensuring properties are maintained to high standards. You will also serve as the first point of contact on-site when managers are unavailable—assisting students, tradespeople, and landlords.
This field-based position requires excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently while staying connected to a wider operational team. You will support key activities such as student arrivals and departures, viewings, inventories, and planned maintenance coordination.
