This role is for an Estates Property Manager responsible for property management of the University’s extensive land and portfolio. Duties include managing the expanding Let property portfolio, lease negotiations, acquisitions, disposals, title issues, collaborations, valuation and rating issues, and ensuring rental income is maximised and lease obligations enforced.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Degree level educated with RICS professional status
  • Strong interpersonal, numeracy, writing, and computer skills
  • Professional experience in a property management role in private/public sector with a strategic estate management track record
  • Knowledge of acquisition and disposal of property beneficial
  • Experience managing and controlling budgets and understanding of financial management
  • Specialist knowledge of property market and ability to negotiate best deals acting for the University
