We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Cardiology who will assist in providing a referral level Small Animal Cardiology Service, contribute to teaching efforts, and support the development of the Cardiology Service within a multidisciplinary environment.
The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is seeking a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Small Animal Cardiology based within the Hospital for Small Animals on Easter Bush Campus. The role involves clinical teaching of final year undergraduate students and working in a multidisciplinary team covering internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, emergency and critical care.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- A degree in veterinary medicine and registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons at appointment.
- Boarded (UE09) or board eligible (UE08) for ECVIM-CA (cardiology) or ACVIM (cardiology).
- Extensive experience within a multi-disciplinary referral and teaching centre.
- Extensive experience in cardiology interventional procedures.
- Appropriate English language certificate.
