Salary & Employment Terms
Grade UE08: £50,253 – £61,759 per annum (pro‐rate if part‐time). Full‐time: 35 hours per week. Open‐ended (permanent). Market pay supplement may be offered to match NHS Agenda for Change 8a step 1 (£62,681 pro‐rate) depending on academic and clinical experience and qualifications.
Opportunity
We are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who has an interest in training psychological therapists, delivering psychological therapies including CBT and/or IPT, and preferably in neuro‐affirming therapies and neuro‐developmental assessments for children and young people. The post‐holder will join a dynamic team engaged in delivering therapeutic skills training and academic Masters‐level research supervision, and will contribute to the innovative Centre for Psychological Therapies to assist in training students on the Psychology Therapies MSc Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to teaching and training of students on the Psychology Therapies MSc Programme.
- Deliver therapeutic skills training and supervise Masters‐level research.
- Provide service delivery and development in the Centre for Psychological Therapies.
Qualifications & Experience
- BPS recognised Professional Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with confirmed registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience of teaching and training psychological therapists.
- Experience delivering psychological therapies to children and young people.
