Salary: £24,729 - £25,804 per annum plus 15% Premium Band for flexible working

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends

Contract: Open-ended (permanent)

Summary: The University of Edinburgh Catering Department invites applications for a Chef de Partie to join the team at JMCC, a 650-seater buffet restaurant that provides approximately 28,000 meals each week during peak periods and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to commercial guests year-round.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard in a busy, customer-focused environment.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety regulations.
  • Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak periods.
