The predicted salary is between 40797 - 40797 £ per year.

Grade TR01: £31,556.00 per annum plus £9,241.40 compulsory contractual overtime (total £40,797.40 pa). Additional allowance of £1,893.36 per annum will be applied upon joining the Call Out Rota at 6 months service. Additional Call Out Payments will also be applied. Full‑time: 35 hours per week, plus 7.5 hours compulsory contractual overtime per week. Open-ended: Permanent Contract.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Plumber to join our multi‑disciplined trade’s team. You’ll be part of a supportive environment that delivers exceptional customer service across an expanding, world‑class estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks using an electronic maintenance system via smartphone.
  • Perform minor works, alterations, refurbishments and new installations across a complex estate.
  • Prioritise work using the maintenance system and meet deadlines.
  • Join the emergency call out rota after 6 months service and be expected to take part in 6 weeks out of the year.
  • Drive university vehicles as required (a valid driving licence is essential).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Completed a recognised SNIPEFF Craft Apprenticeship as a Plumber or equivalent.
  • Hold a City and Guilds Certificate or an Advanced Craft SVQ Level 3 Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent.
  • Working understanding of minor works, alterations, refurbishments or new installations and significant experience of carrying out similar maintenance tasks within a complex estate.
  • Experience with electronic maintenance systems and prioritisation methods is desirable.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
