As Legal Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the Company Solicitor with a range of legal and administrative duties. You will help ensure the smooth handling of legal matters including property transactions, regulatory compliance, document drafting, legal research and supporting internal colleagues with queries. Working alongside the wider Governance team, you will contribute to maintaining strong governance practices, accurate records, and effective legal processes. This role gives you the chance to develop practical skills in housing, property, and regulatory law, gaining experience in a fast-paced environment where your work will help us deliver the high-quality services we provide across United Welsh.

Key responsibilities:- Strong literacy skills and the ability to summarise complex legal or regulatory information clearly for different audiences.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, Excel and other IT systems.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks, often working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with discretion and handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting working relationships.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work using own initiative and ability to seek guidance from others where appropriate.
- LLB Bachelor of Laws qualification or equivalent degree.
