A modern and friendly restaurant and bar in the pedestrian area of Triton Street, Regent's Place. We believe a good time should be had by all, whether you are dropping in for a delicious freshly made lunch at good prices or some well-earned after work drinks and tapas, we've got you covered. Enjoy the front terrace or the private garden.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our dynamic bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in service and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. This is predominantly a Mon-Fri role, with some weekend private hires. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in delivering exceptional service while ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the running of a busy bar, preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate team members.
  • Monitor booking systems and emails in order to prepare for the day as well as plan ahead for the week/month.
  • Respond to email or phone enquiries while on shift and/or report it to the appropriate member of management.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service by supporting staff during busy periods and resolving any operational issues promptly.
  • Uphold standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the bar and dining areas in accordance with hospitality regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food and beverage preparation is desirable.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive working environment.
  • Experience in cocktails and coffee is advantageous.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
