Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support culinary operations across multiple areas of the hotel, contributing to restaurants, events, room service, and colleague dining.
  • Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, ensuring all menu items are well-executed and aligned with hotel standards.
  • Apply strong knowledge of ingredients, including seasonal produce and new products, to enhance menu offerings.
  • Maintain excellent presentation standards, ensuring every dish is visually appealing and ready for service.
  • Uphold strict hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety practices while ensuring equipment is used and maintained correctly.
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and leaders across the department, using initiative to solve problems and support smooth service.
  • Contribute to cost control by following recipes accurately, minimising waste, and supporting sustainability goals.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members when required, helping to build skills and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
