URGENT - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE. Opportunity to develop into a Head of / Sales Director role in the future. Candidate was due to start on Monday but has withdrawn due to personal reasons. If there was ever the need to say we need someone who can hit the ground running, this is it. If you have sold a SaaS solution into construction, maintenance companies, housing then I'm keen to talk. Remote but ideally reside in central region down to the South; however, we will consider your location on a case by case basis but must be based mainland England. Base negotiable and uncapped OTE, plus the opportunity to develop into a Head of / Sales Director role in the future. Circa £65000 - 70000k base but negotiable plus uncapped bonus.

Introduction: I am delighted to be exclusively retained by a long-standing client of mine, a well-established, customer-centric, SME SaaS provider, who through positive change and exciting growth plans for 2026, are now looking for a new Senior Business Development Manager to join the team, initially in a stand-alone role but with great potential to really develop your career and develop a team around you in the future. This is primarily a new business hunter role with an already active lead base for you to target. This opportunity is staggering for the right person to really help grow the business and be rewarded by your efforts. If you want financial rewards and title, the success is purely down to you! The leadership is fun, motivational, inspirational, personable and supportive but have high standards within the team/culture and a high standard of service to its client is expected. Although an established, award-winning SaaS provider, the opportunity ahead is more about start-up, get stuck in and roll up your sleeves mentality.

Job Role of a Senior Business Development Manager:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within new and existing client base.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation, fact finding, presentation, product demonstrations and contractual negotiations.
  • Develop in-depth market knowledge and strong relationships with key decision makers through regular contact, meetings and networking.
  • Work with colleagues and the product development team to ensure coordinated approaches to target opportunities that allow the effective delivery of solutions to the client.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships at senior levels within client and prospect base.
  • Provide management information on pipeline, activity and overall sales performance in a timely manner and form sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on market intelligence, competitor activity, including pricing and promotions.
  • Attend exhibitions and industry seminars when required, with a particular emphasis on networking with key decision makers or activity that supports lead generation.

About you:

  • Must have a proven track record in winning new business of a SaaS product.
  • Must be technically minded within the implementation of a SaaS product.
  • Must be able to road map a customer journey.
  • Must be customer centric.
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally.
  • A good strategic thinker, able to analyse business opportunities and develop an appropriate sales plan.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables in a highly energised and fast-paced environment where priorities often conflict.
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail with an ability to interpret information to drive business outcomes or solutions.
  • Result driven with a continuous mindset to improve.
  • Truly pro-active, analytical and pragmatic in your approach.
  • Approachable and fun to work with.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the UK.
  • Ideally come from a proptech/contech but we will consider other sectors but must be SaaS.
  • Entrepreneurial so no 9-5 mentality.
