Job Description: Travel Sales Development Executive

And although we are a leader in the UK domestic market, we are also a key player in escorted air holidays, holidays by rail, no fly ocean cruises and European river cruises. Our Head Office is in Norwich, and also have offices in Glasgow and west Yorkshire.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious sales professional, preferably with a background in travel, to join our Norwich-based justforgroups! team. They specialise in tailor-making holidays for groups, and organise holidays and events for many national organisations like the Royal Naval Association, u3a, and the Civil Service Motoring Association. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for travel industry, be a great communicator, and a real people person! Whilst the role is largely office based, some travel in the UK would be required although this can be worked around other commitments.
Key responsibilities include;
- Sourcing, and contacting new groups,organisations and partnerships, predominantly via telephone and email with the occasional in-person visits
- Maintaining, developing, and building relationships with existing customers
- Handling, processing, and confirming customer enquiries and requests
- Meeting targets and deadlines
- Sourcing, negotiating rates, and contracting hotels
- Researching, and creating bespoke itineraries
- Preparing promotional materials for customers to help sell the holidays
- Processing and preparing correspondence via email and post
- Helping to create new sales Initiatives with the Brand Manager
Hours: Full-time, office based, some travel required
Days: Monday-Friday.
Salary Range: £25-30,000 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week.
