The Role
- As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are tested safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- You will also support the workshop team when required with servicing and general vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Accurately identify and report vehicle defects and repair requirements
- Ensure MOT testing equipment is maintained and compliant
- Complete all required paperwork and digital records accurately
- Support workshop activities, including light servicing and repairs where required
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements- Valid MOT Tester licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of DVSA testing standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a professional and customer-focused mindset
