The Two Sawyers in Pett is a family run pub on the outskirts of Hastings serving excellent beer and food. We are currently seeking an energetic experienced Waiter or Waitress & Bartender to join our busy, popular pub.
Responsibilities:
- Run the restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner service providing all customers with a personal and friendly service.
- Greet customers, provide recommendations, take orders and serve food and drink in a timely manner.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and other members of the front of house team to ensure that all orders are prepared and delivered correctly.
- Follow all safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and cleaning procedures.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including beer, wine and spirits.
- Ensure that the bar is clean and well-stocked at all times.
- Support the team with cellar management.
- Responsible key holder. 1-2 pub closes per week.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy restaurant or pub.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
