We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver, Category C+E to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods on a simple route with one drop, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties
- Operate curtain slider lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations during all aspects of driving.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Commercial Driver, preferably with HGV Class 1 operation experience.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for cargo securement.
