If you live for the moment a dessert lands on the pass looking exactly as you imagined it, we would love to meet you.

The Twenty Two is a luxury boutique hotel and private members club set within a restored townhouse on Grosvenor Square, in the very heart of Mayfair. Behind the doors is one of London's most talked about pastry sections, turning out plated restaurant desserts and showpieces for private events. Every plate is an occasion, and pastry is where a lot of the magic happens.

We are looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career. This is a chance to run your own section, learn from an experienced team, and grow your craft within a celebrated London property that takes pastry seriously.

A day in the section

Working closely with the senior pastry team, you will take charge of your section day to day. One service you might be finishing delicate petit fours for a member event, the next you are plating restaurant desserts or laminating the morning's viennoiserie. You will take genuine pride in keeping every detail beautiful and consistent, and in helping the commis around you find their feet.

What you will be doing

β€’ Running your pastry section across the restaurant, afternoon tea, room service, and private events, always to an exceptional standard.

β€’ Preparing and presenting pastry, desserts, viennoiserie, and petit fours with care and consistency.

β€’ Managing your own mise en place, keeping the section organised, clean, and ready for service.

β€’ Contributing ideas to seasonal dishes and supporting the senior team with new menu development.

β€’ Helping to guide and train the commis chefs working alongside you.

β€’ Keeping food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards faultless, with the paperwork to match.

What you will bring

β€’ Experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie, ideally within a luxury hotel, fine dining, or high end restaurant.

β€’ A real passion for pastry, good technical skills, and an eye for detail that does not switch off.

β€’ The calm and consistency to deliver under pressure in a busy, high standard kitchen.

β€’ A positive, generous attitude and a genuine appetite to learn and grow.

β€’ A good grasp of food safety and allergen management.

β€’ Flexibility across a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

β€’ The right to work in the United Kingdom.

Why The Twenty Two

β€’ A creative, supportive kitchen inside one of London's most distinctive addresses.

β€’ Real investment in your development, with clear opportunities to progress.

β€’ A competitive salary and benefits package.

β€’ The chance to be part of a close team that genuinely cares about getting it right.
